Digital Unite

• We help older people use new technology.
• We believe older people can enjoy and be empowered by digital technology, like anyone else, if they get the right tools and training.
• We know digital inclusion matters. Currently a third of all UK adults don’t have good enough digital skills, an estimated half of those are older people. That’s 10m people.  A society where older people are cut off because they lack digital skills is not a healthy happy place. For anyone.

How we do it:

• We run noisy national campaigns to get new users online and put digital inclusion on the agenda.
• We provide IT teaching and training focused on the over-50s, designed for new and nervous users.
• We encourage online learning and digital communities, made by older people for older people.
• We share our expertise with others.
• We work on innovative projects to reach new audiences.
